OK. The Knicks and Kings have allot in common. They played each other in the only NBA championship game that the Kings won in a tough 7 game series in 1951. That was 59 years ago.
Both teams are currently in slumps and looking to pull out and make a run.
    Go Kings.

    Your welcome. :)

Go Kings time to start winning some games. It looks like that buzzer beater shot by Kobe at Staples, shot down the high flying Kings. Not to mention the previous two OT losses. Since those OT games the Kings have only beaten the Nuggets and the Warriors if it wasn't for those three wins the Kings would have a 23 game Lossing strk. But i think if the Kings would have beaten the Lakers @Staples right now it would be a different story.GO KINGS!

post them up with strong basic moves. we are not going to win with 3 point shots, fake the pass slow down defense , cant get off shot as time runs out from out of bound pass turn around jump shot or turn around jump pass to a posting man.good luck.

Whatever mental block the Lakers have over this team, if any, has to stop. The 2002 series is over. To be honest, there really is no rivalry between the Kings and Lakers, just allot of grudges. The Lakers are a strong team, and seem to be almost every NBA season. The Kings need to play hard all the time.
    Go Kings!

I completely agree. Derrick Favors would be great!

  11. BOB on February 9th, 2010 9:15 pm

Allstar weekend wil be fun. Tyreke and Omri in the Rookie Challenge, Tyreke and Chris Webber in the Shooting Stars, and Omri participating in the H.O.R.S.E competition against Kevin Durant and Rajon Rondo. I am looking forward to a Kings filled weekend. Maybe next year Tyreke will be playing in the real Allstar game.

  12. Dan12Kings on February 9th, 2010 9:33 pm

wow……now no one mentions trading Kevin. Thats what makes me mad, right when I said trading Kevin wasn’t a solution everyone got mad and said that trading Kevin was a no-brainer. Without Kevin we wouldn’t have won in OT. Kevin had a bad game in regulation but was clutch in OT, Even when he missed that shot in the final seconds of OT he got his own rebound and made the best decision to pass the ball back out, to run the clock down, instead of shooting it.

Now is the time to break the slump and get a win. Whoever wants it the most will win tonight as both teams are pretty evenly matched when it comes to talent. It would do wonders for the Kings if they could win tonight and tomorrow, and go into the All Star break with two wins in a row. We need Martin and Evans to get their act together and move the ball without worrying who is going to score the most points. We also need max effort on both defense and offense from the remaining players. We need to win, win now.

  14. Craig on February 9th, 2010 10:43 pm

I am looking forward to all-star week end but especially the Rookie vs. Sophs game with Tyreke and Omri . I am also looking forward to the return of Francisco Garcia to the line up ! Go Kings !

  15. JOHN on February 9th, 2010 10:52 pm

LETS REKE SOME HAVOK TONIGHT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TYREKE NEEDS TO JUST TRY AND GET TO THE BASKET EVERY TIME HE GETS THE BALL, IM SICK OF SEEING EVERY PLAYER MISS WIDE OPEN SHOTS, TYREKE COULD GET 50 EASY.

  16. JOHN on February 9th, 2010 11:02 pm

The Kings are represented THREE TIMES in the NBA All-Star game! Rookie game (Omri+Evans), Shooting Stars competition (Tyreke+C-Webb+Nicole Powell), and now the H-O-R-S-E competition with Omri Casspi!

Let's show them how Sactown rolls, Kings fans!

  18. Craig on February 10th, 2010 12:01 am

Wilson Chandler, David Lee, and Al Harrington are causing havoc with the Kings. We got to defend.

  25. Khloe <3 on February 10th, 2010 3:40 am

Yes, biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig congrat to Omri too! I'm super proud of the entire team!!!! No complaints from me tonight! ;) Especially with the effort exhibited tonight! Yay!

  26. getPGwithbounce on February 10th, 2010 4:02 am

17 before All Star Break! Go Kings
Solid games from JT and Kevin.
Kevin just needs to work on the jump shot and JT needs to face up and keep doing what he's been doing. Like the plays they run for Kevin…almost reminds me of Reggie Miller.
Donte, Casspi, Reke …another day at the office Yesir…

  27. King Patrick on February 10th, 2010 4:10 am

LOL is this kings open net or e-harmony? LOL

    you're sweet AND funny! lol

anyway, I don't know about meeting up with individuals from cyberspace. I think i've watched one lifetime movie too many ;)

  34. Khloe <3 on February 10th, 2010 6:58 am

LOL if Kevin Martin puts forth an effort I am ALL FOR KEEPING HIM…FOREVER! I have always loved kev. But he has had a lot of fans on pins and needles with his dr. jekyl mr hyde-like behavior ;) Anyway, I don't care if he misses shots (after all he has been out for awhile). All I expect is EFFORT. As long as he *tries*, there should not be a problem ;) For example, I was so proud of his intensity and effort tonight. That's the Kevin we all know and love. XOXO go kings!

ok, why have I posted so many comments tonight! this is terrible. Time to take a break from open net! :D
