November 29, 2009 – At ARCO Arena, Sergio Rodriguez scored a career-high 24 points and Jason Thompson recorded his sixth double-double of the season with 22 points and a game-high 14 rebounds to lead the Kings their third straight win, a 112-96 victory over the Hornets. The Kings used a 10-0 run, capped off by a driving lay-up by Rodriguez, to turn an 86-83 lead into a 96-83 advantage with 5:46 remaining in the fourth quarter. New Orleans used consecutive baskets to pull within nine before the Kings scored eight unanswered to put the game out of reach. Tyreke Evans tallied 14 points and Andres Nocioni and Beno Udrih each contributed 13 points. Omri Casspi added 12 points off the bench. New Orleans received 24 points from David West and 20 from Emeka Okafor. Okafor and Devin Brown each grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

NOTES: Rodriguez eclipsed his previous scoring high of 23 points, tallying 13 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. The Kings outshot (61.1-50 percent), outrebounded (12-1), and outscored (30-22) the Hornets in the fourth quarter. Sacramento has scored 100 or more points in 12 of the last 13 games, including the last six. Kenny Thomas started in place of Spencer Hawes (bruised right knee), making his first start since Nov. 12, 2007, at Utah.
