KINGS HAVE WON 5 OF LAST 7 OUTINGS
The Kings are currently 5-5, having won five of their last seven games. During a recent four-game win streak, Sacramento posted victories at Utah (104-99) and versus Golden State (120-107), Oklahoma City (101-98), and Houston (109-100). Rebounding has been key to the success for Head Coach Paul Westphal’s squad. The Kings lead the league in offensive rebounding at 13.8 per game and are ranked fourth in rebounds per game at 44.5. Sacramento has won the battle of the boards in five of the 10 games so far this season. That is a dramatic improvement over last season when Sacramento ranked 29th overall in rebounding and 25th in offensive rebounding.

ROOKIE TYREKE EVANS’ 20+ POINT STREAK REACHES 5 GAMES
Rookie point guard Tyreke Evans has scored 20 or more points in each of the last five games (Kings 4-1 in those contests). During that five-game stretch, the 6-6 Evans has averaged 23.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.40 steals per game. The last Kings rookie to post five-straight 20-plus-point outings was Lionel Simmons, who tallied seven in a row in February of 1991.

BENO UDRIH ELEVATES HIS GAME DURING 7-GAME STRETCH
Veteran guard Beno Udrih has been a major reason for the team’s success over the last seven games. During that stretch, including the last five games as a starter, Udrih has averaged 16.0 points (.523 FG%, .417 3pt%, .909 FT%), 2.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 33.1 minutes per contest. He was instrumental in victories versus Houston and Golden State, scoring 22 and 20 points, respectively, in those contests.

QUICK QUOTE …
“He’s (Evans) terrific. He does a lot of good things. He’s going to be a very talented player in this league. He seems to be a very team-oriented guard and I’m sure the Kings are really happy. They should be.” – Oklahoma City Head Coach Scott Brooks
