    Defense!!!!
Kevin on Bibby and Teague. Tyreke and Mason on Jamal Crawford and Joe Johnson. Key to last game was Kevin on the smaller and slower OJ Mayo, I think guarding Bibby and Teague should yield similar results. Tyreke's D was great last game…I think he and Mason are the only guys on this team that can D Crawford and Johnson.

WOW, What a difference a really good coach makes! The Memphis game could have easily become a train wreck! In years past, I was always frustrated with the coaches. "Don't they know when to take a time out?" Westphal took time outs at EXACTLY the right time, made EXACTLY the right adjustments and is as responsible as anyone for that win. If these young guys really listen, in a few years, with maybe a few more pieces, we can do something in the playoffs. Cudo's to the executive staff for picking the right coach!

Another thought, Beno's patience and experience was instrumental is that win. Yeah, Tyreke is going to be great, but don't overlook Beno. He does something many gaurds dont do. He drive's, but instead of possibly going all the way to the hole and getting it smacked back in his face, he pops for a 12 footer. Why don't more guards do it? I have a message for Tyreke, WATCH BENO AND LEARN.

As far as the Hawks go for tonight. SPENCE / JT ALLOW NO LAYUPS/DUNKS!, Perimiter defenders LIMITED 3's. Rebound your ??s off. We can live with the rest.

Beno should start this game. Tyreke can learn from him. Casspi also should start, whats the deal with starting Desmond and only playing him for the first 5 minutes? Come on KINGS!!!!!!!!!!

    Go get em' Omri!

Mason pretty much will start every game due to him being the best defensive player that we have on the team… Omri has alot to learn about the game and thats wat he is doing learning… Alot of players have had more success coming off the bench as a sixth man than anything… So Lets just leave it at that and lets play it out….

The thing is Mike Bibby only had 7 points at the Game Vs Portland last night, so go figure his probably bringing 23pts for the Kings 2night.

Keys to the game stay on Bibby no open 3's D him up.
Atlanta is a running fast paste team, they run and they take you to the bucket! Keep em out of paint area, Play Smart&Together Play hard D, Rebound the Ball, if we can do that we will win the Ball-game!

In regards to Beno, it was just one game….Tyreke (assuming ankle is better) should still start. Spence can start but he won't repeat that performance against Horford and Pachulia. As of right now, Omri can start…that's why they're bringing in Udoka…Udoka, Donte, Garcia, Noce, Mason or Kenny…it's like they're collecting forwards for future trade packaging….

That Noce Bibby mismatch….you gotta see that stuff Tyreke!!!

  12. balla7 on November 5th, 2009 5:18 am

we as a team have to do a better job of locating the mismatches…. the Noc/Bibby mismatch and the Mason/Bibby mismatch….

The on a coaching error you cant bring Desmond in to guard Joe win its 5 mins left in the game… The damage is already done and then you take him out and soon as that happens they hit a crucial three with the assist from joe…. Come on coach….

I think in this game Noc was good pick for the starter but I think Mason should have been the sixth man instead of Cass… This is a game where we need defense… Any other game then i can see where Cass would be the sixth man but not this one….

    close game.

  14. jtfan on November 5th, 2009 5:24 am

Come on guys. Play like you did on Monday!

  15. balla7 on November 5th, 2009 5:27 am

It all boils down to one thing…. we have to play better defense as individuals and as a team… we cant allow break downs in the 4th quarter… we cant blame it too much on youth at this point… Well I dont think so anyway… you are in the NBA we should kno how to close out games and buckle down in the crucial mins of the game and D up…

  16. Str8upPlayer on November 5th, 2009 5:57 am

Couple 3's from Bibby, layaup after layup, outrebounded again end here goes your ball game, well the effort was the're throu-out 3queters! Keep your heads up Atlanta is real deal no one said it was gona be easy, they are pridicted to finish 4-5 seed in deep Estern Conference.

Inpatient move by coach to start Nocioni & Howes, he should of stuck to what got him there and stick to the old starting 5. Guys just started to gel with each other don't you think?

  18. getPGwithbounce on November 5th, 2009 9:56 am

points in the paint and a couple of missed 3's …put Spence back on the bench again…seems to play better off the bench
